Ukraine Follow-Up

Participants from Ukraine did two follow-up activities and did a lot of online dissemination, as we can see in the following lines:

1st Follow-Up Activity

On October 31, 2023, at 4 p.m., a presentation of the visual tool "Wheel of Life" (used to achieve work-life balance) was held for 4th-year philology students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.


The event was designed for 4th-year university students to enhance their understanding of work-life balance using the visual tool known as the "Wheel of Life."

The primary goal of this event was to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and improve their work-life balance. By utilizing the Wheel of Life tool, participants gained a visual and structured framework for evaluating various aspects of their lives, such as career, health, relationships, and personal development. Through self-reflection and practical exercises, students identified areas in which they excelled and areas that might require adjustment to maintain a healthy balance.

2nd Follow-Up Activity

"Embrace Your Voice" (Anna Halizova, Svitlana Pokolodna, Krystina Yefimchuk)

On November 10, 2023, at 1 p.m a presentation of the important aspects and techniques in your voice, the wheel of life, classical rhetoric (pathos, ethos, logos), and overall experience was held by 4th-year international economy relations students of Dnipro University of Technology. There were online 28 participants in the event. 

The event was provided for international economic relations students to improve their comprehension of their own voices using different tools recognized as "techniques and methods of constructing your own speech," "the wheel of life," and "pathos, ethos, and logos as components of oratorical art".

The main objective of this event was to equip international economy relations students with the essential tools and techniques to enhance their proficiency in vocal expression. Through the exploration of diverse methodologies, including "Techniques and methods of constructing your own speech," "The wheel of life," and "Pathos, ethos, logos as components of oratorical art," participants aimed to elevate their understanding and command of effective communication. By immersing themselves in these strategies, students gained insights into refining their speech construction, utilizing persuasive techniques, and employing rhetorical elements for impactful communication in various contexts.

Evaluation and emotion from the participants 

Oleksandra Landau: "The project "Embrace your voice", which focused on exploring the fundamental aspects of the human voice as a natural communication tool, was both intriguing and impactful for me. It has been a pivotal journey of self-discovery and empowerment. It's given me the tools to be an active participant in civil society and assert myself in any social group. I'm more outspoken, confident, and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to make a difference."

Nadia Didkivska: "This project turned out to be one of the most challenging, among those in which I participated. "Embrace your voice" united 48 people from six countries with completely different cultures and songs that we were able to sing together. With the best facilitators, each of us became better and learned to express ourselves, talk about what is important to us and bring positive changes to our communities."

Maksym Shumeiko: "This Erasmus+ Youth Exchange felt so smooth, comfortable, and, nevertheless, well-structured and well-organised. From the preparation and selection processes to the implementation and the follow-up - everything was clear and I was left highly satisfied with the collective work, both the organizing team and participants. The activities I participated not only were just interesting from the knowledge perspective but they also shed the light on things I didn't expect to think and learn about while preparing and coming to this project. I've got lots of insights and the project let me to reflect on them for a long time. The participants were great and active even though some of them were shy at the beginning. Overall, this project was impressively valuable for me and I'm more than grateful for it"

Yuliia Yatsyk: Participating in the EMYOUVO Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on exploring our voice and its role in our life was an enlightening and inspiring experience. Despite the irony that I lost my voice due to some health problems just the second day after arriving, I felt enormous support from all participants and still had a chance to discover important nuances of vocal communication, from its physical attributes to its connection with our emotional and physical states. This exploration not only broadened my understanding of our natural vocal abilities but also empowered me to be more confident in my self-expression.

Krystina Yefimchuk: "It was one of the best and most emotional projects for me. "Embrace your voice" brought together 48 individuals from six different countries, each with entirely distinct cultures and songs that we collectively sang. Facilitated by the best professionals, we all improved individually, learning to articulate our thoughts, express what truly matters to us, and initiate positive transformations within our respective communities."

Anna Halizova: "This Erasmus+ youth exchange was one of the best projects I've ever participated in. "Embrace Your Voice" gathered 36 youngsters and 12 leaders in explore the voice as a basic communication tool as a way to increase self-awareness through Non-Formal Educational Activities carried out both indoors and in nature. It was well organized, structured and sometimes even a little bit challenging, but in a good way. Participants and were very great. Project organizers were awesome. Everything that I've learned there is absolutely valuable for me and I'm really thankful and grateful for it".

Pokolodna Svitlana: This Erasmus+ youth exchange is one of the best experiences I've had. We talked a lot, had a lot of activities like meditations and self-reflection. I really like that, it's important in my opinion. There were also a lot of creative tasks - we drew, sang, prepared short theatrical performances. It was all just incredible. I also managed to overcome my fear of public speaking and read my poems in front of the public, it was very important for me. Thank you!

Kateryna Yakymechko: It was an incredible project that brought me a lot of bright emotions and new experience. I was inspired by the wonderful tasks we performed in groups. I gained more confidence in my thoughts and actions. I felt that I was in the right place and at the right time thanks to the support of the participants and the right choice of a very close and important project topic for me. I am really grateful for this opportunity!
